Emids Named by Everest Group as a Major Contender in the Healthcare Provider Digital Services Space
Emids, a proven leader in technology-led transformation and digital engineering within the healthcare and life sciences industry, has been recognized as a Major Contender this year in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix® for Healthcare Provider Digital Services.
As a Major Contender, Emids has been described as client centric, offering domain expertise, and being flexible, according to clients. Clients also appreciate the quick responsiveness and accommodative nature of Emids.
Historically, healthcare providers have been mired by the legacy IT estate, and regulations that have had the unfortunate consequence of incentivizing them to maintain the status quo.
However, that is not an option anymore, particularly as healthcare providers scramble to meet the needs of a world disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthcare providers are now being forced to jump on the digital bandwagon to meet the demands faced by the healthcare ecosystem to battle this disruption.
To support enterprises on their digital journeys, service providers are ramping up capabilities through healthcare-specific partnerships and acquisitions. This, in turn, is driving the need for research and market intelligence on demand and supply trends in healthcare provider digital services.
Everest Group’s healthcare information technology services (ITS) program gauges the capabilities of Emids so customers can see the value Emids offers in the healthcare provider digital services space.
Chunky Satija
Vice President at Everest Group
“Emids offers domain-focused solutions and services towards addressing specific digital needs of customers, such as virtual engagement/telehealth, and patient engagement. The PEAK Matrix® is a framework that helps Emids customers better understand the company’s market success & impact measured by the market adoption, portfolio mix, and value delivered. It also shows customers Emids’ scope of services offered, and sheds light on its vision.

Emids Recognized in the 2022 HFS Horizons Report for Healthcare Payer Service Providers
Emids, a leader in digital engineering and transformation solutions to the healthcare and life sciences industries, has been positioned among the 2022 HFS Horizons Report for Healthcare Payer Service Providers.
HFS assessed the capabilities of 21 healthcare payer service providers to help buyers—including government agencies, health plans and self-insured employers—find the service provider that best suits their needs in the evolving healthcare market.
There’s a blurring of industry lines with an increasing number of non-traditional healthcare enterprises entering the $4 trillion U.S. healthcare market, leading to positive market disruptions that offer opportunities to overcome inefficiencies, poor outcomes, and increasing costs.
The payer market is seeing many shifts as consumer expectations evolve and financial pressures grow. One of these shifts involves vertical integrations among payers, which is providing healthcare enterprises the opportunity to move away from dwindling revenues and shrinking margins.
“We’re thrilled that Emids was recognized for its work in providing payers the impactful technology solutions they need to navigate the changing healthcare landscape,” said Praveen Soti, Emids President for Payer and Digital Solutions.
