Chief Executive Officer
Abhishek Shankar is the Chief Executive Officer of Emids, leading the organization’ mission to advance healthcare through AI-driven engineering innovation and digital transformation. With over two decades of extensive technology experience, Abhishek brings a proven track record of scaling businesses, driving innovation, and delivering enterprise-wide technology modernization.
Prior to joining Emids, Abhishek served as President, Communications Business, Americas at Tech Mahindra, where he led large-scale digital transformation initiatives for global technology and service providers. He also chaired the Global Telecom Leadership Council, shaping industry-wide approaches to AI-driven innovation and software-defined transformation
Before Tech Mahindra, Abhishek was Senior Vice President, Hi-Tech Industry and Global Head for a professional services business unit at HCL. In addition to leading the North America telecom industry vertical, he created HCL’s North American Life Sciences business and established an innovative enterprise studio to provide end-to-end lifecycle services for technology product companies.
Abhishek has a bachelor’s degree in Control and Instrumentation and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
