Elena McFann is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than three decades of experience across managed care, including leadership roles spanning Medicare and Medicaid businesses, enterprise network strategy, and value-based care program design. She brings deep expertise in driving financial performance, operational transformation, and care delivery innovation, particularly in serving complex and underserved populations.
In her current portfolio, McFann serves on multiple boards, including Zing Health and Benevis, contributing to governance across quality, compliance, and audit functions. She previously served as President of Elevance Health’s Medicare business, supporting over 2.6 million members. She also held multiple senior leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare, including CEO of the Medicare and Retirement Central Region, where she oversaw more than 1.2 million beneficiaries across 15 states, along with leadership roles in network strategy, innovation, and enterprise operations.
