Nashville, Tenn. –Sept. 10, 2018– emids, a leading global provider of digital solutions for healthcare, was recently recognized for three outstanding achievements in the local Nashville community.
Headquartered in Nashville, emids received these awards from two prominent local organizations, the Nashville Business Journal (NBJ) and the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. “Nashville is a healthcare hub, which is why emids is particularly excited to be located here,” Saurabh Sinha, emids CEO said. “Healthcare is rapidly changing, and we’re pleased to be such an integral part of the Nashville healthcare community. This city has made a substantial investment in healthcare, which has a positive impact on both the industry and the city of Nashville as a whole.”
The Nashville Business Journal selected emids as an honoree for their prestigious 2018 Fast 50 Awards. This award recognizes the 50 fastest-growing private companies headquartered in Middle Tenn. emids’ growth and subsequent recognition can be attributed in part to their acquisition of Encore Health Resources in late 2017. With this acquisition, emids added providers as a key customer group they support with healthcare solutions and services globally.
In addition, emids CFO Gaurav Agarwal was selected as a finalist for the NBJ’s 2018 CFO Awards. Agarwal was nominated in the category honoring medium-sized private companies with $50-$250 million in annual revenue. This event is the city’s premier awards program recognizing the best financial minds at the top of Nashville businesses.
“Gaurav has made significant contributions that have positively impacted the success of our organization,” Sinha noted. All finalists will be honored at an awards dinner Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Nashville.
emids was also named a finalist for the 2018 NEXT Awards in the category of Healthcare Market Mover presented by the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. Built on the belief that big ideas and the innovators behind them deserve to be celebrated, the NEXT Awards recognize “Nashville’s top rebels, visionaries, entrepreneurs and businesses.” emids’ inclusion can be credited to their innovative approach to working at the intersection of healthcare and technology. They collaborate with their clients to address industry challenges with a consumer-first, digitally-led focus leveraging the latest technology and processes. Finalists will be recognized Wednesday, Nov. 7, in downtown Nashville.
Sinha summarized, “I am proud that emids has been recognized by these two Nashville organizations, and am looking forward to the future as emids continues to keep growing, thriving and contributing to the city of Nashville.”
