emids Founder and CEO Honored as Top Health Care Leader

Nashville, Tenn. – May 15, 2019 – Last night, emids Founder and CEO, Saurabh Sinha, was among those honored in the Top Leader Category as one of the Nashville Business Journal’s (NBJ) 2019 class of Health Care Awards winners.

This award honored the city’s top business leaders in the healthcare industry, the leaders who help make Music City the nation’s healthcare capital. This year’s class included top executives at Nashville’s leading healthcare companies and a new class of health care professionals in their “Ones to Watch” category. Sinha was recognized alongside senior leaders from Narus Health, LifePoint Health, Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Ardent Health Services among others.

emids, a global leader in digital solutions in the healthcare industry, was also honored by NBJ last fall, ranking 7th overall for their prestigious 2018 Fast 50 Awards. This award recognized the 50 fastest-growing private companies located in Middle Tennessee.

Sinha has a proven track record as a valued thought leader in the healthcare industry, having established emids’ healthcare technology capabilities and positioning the company as a full digital enabler in the industry. He and his team focus on providing solutions for the larger challenges facing the industry today including payment reform, consumerization and cost containment – with the ultimate goal of establishing customer-centric services and solutions that create value for emids’ clients. Last year, Sinha was also honored as a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award in the Southeast region.

“We know first-hand the value of Saurabh’s leadership within emids,” says Manish Shah, senior vice president and CIO at CHS. “His insightful thought leadership has been a significant asset to me personally and to our organization, and we value his insights and continued partnership.”

Sinha noted that emids remains competitive amid Nashville’s continued growth in the healthcare industry due in large part to the solid investment of the Nashville community. As healthcare is expanding and modernizing, he sees the expansion of Nashville’s investment in healthcare and health tech as having a significantly positive impact on the healthcare industry and the city of Nashville as a whole.
