NASHVILLE, July 23, 2020 – emids, a leader in digital engineering and transformation solutions to the healthcare and life sciences industries, has joined the global response to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with a broad range of initiatives to support relief efforts for healthcare professionals and patients in the greater Nashville area and in India, where emids has additional offices located.
To combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nashville-based U.S. team made valuable donations to address the urgent needs of those who are working to slow the spread of the virus and extended necessary support to strengthen vulnerable healthcare systems.
In solidarity with those who are relentlessly fighting through the pandemic, emids provided lunches from a local business to frontline health professionals at a leading medical center in Nashville. Additionally, the digital transformation company contributed healthy snacks and a bulk order of N95 masks to direct care team members at Abe’s Garden, an Alzheimer’s and memory care center of excellence in Nashville of which Saurabh Sinha, emids’ founder and CEO, serves on the board of directors. emids also donated laptops to address the need for Abe’s Garden residents to stay connected to friends and family amid pandemic-driven visitor limitations.
“As a Nashville-based company and leader in healthcare, it is our privilege to support medical professionals in our community who are dedicated to providing high quality care in the midst of COVID-19.”

“We also know it’s important to support local businesses and eateries during this time, which is why we provided locally-sourced meals. Our contributions are a way of thanking and empowering the community in its fight against this disease.” said Sinha.
“COVID-19 has not only increased our need for personal protective equipment for everyone in our community,” said Chris Kincaid, Abe’s Garden CEO, “but has required us to boost our creative strategies to keep our residents engaged and socially connected while in-person visits with friends, family members and volunteers are restricted. The donated laptops have helped ease stress and anxiety by virtually connecting residents to their loved ones in a safe manner. Our team and residents are incredibly grateful for emids’ generous contributions to keep our vulnerable population engaged and as safe as possible.”
