As one of the nation’s top and most influential associations of healthcare leaders, the Nashville Health Care Council (NHCC) is always looking to expand its industry expertise and diverse collaboration of innovators working together to improve healthcare nationally and globally. emids is proud to be part of this group, and we’re thrilled to announce that our founder and CEO Saurabh Sinha recently joined its leadership. Sinha was appointed to serve on NHCC’s 2017–2018 board of directors, along with 16 other new members and key figures in the healthcare industry.
“Given the rapidly evolving nature of the industry and the challenges we face, these new members bring valuable insights and perspectives to our board,” said board chairman C. Wright Pinson, CEO of Vanderbilt Health. “I want to welcome each and look forward to their contributions.”
A pioneer in the healthcare IT industry, Sinha co-founded emids in 1999, establishing our healthcare technology capabilities and bringing years of expertise and experience in healthcare IT and global sourcing to the value-based solutions we offer our clients today.
“I’m eager to work alongside members of this board and further the purpose of the Nashville Health Care Council,” Sinha says.
Supported by nearly 300 corporate members, the NHCC was founded in 1995 with the goal of bringing leaders together from across the healthcare spectrum to share their skills, expertise and ideas for meeting healthcare’s biggest challenges and driving innovation forward. The council serves as an authoritative source on operational and policy issues facing healthcare firms and sponsors year-round networking and mentoring opportunities for Nashville’s healthcare business community.
Earlier this year, we joined a delegation of 100 members of Leadership Health Care (LHC), an initiative of NHCC, in Washington, D.C., for an insider’s look at the latest healthcare policy debates. As the NHCC continues to grow and become an even bigger voice in future healthcare discussions, we’re excited to share our perspective and help set its course.
