CMA 16: Spotlight on Healthcare Consumerism

Hosted in Nashville, Tennessee—the U.S healthcare industry capital—emids’ annual Healthcare Summit & CMA Celebration is a two-day networking and thought leadership event that brings together leading executives from the industry to explore critical issues shaping healthcare today. The invite-only event is attended by more than 150 executives representing more than 90 companies across the healthcare ecosystem and around the world. Participants engage in panel discussions that drive conversations on innovation, technology and trends impacting the industry today and in the future.

For the third year, the 2016 Healthcare Summit focused on healthcare consumerism and its influence on the perception and delivery of healthcare. Executives from payer and provider organizations discussed how far they have come and where they are headed as they adapt to the needs of the newly empowered healthcare consumer. Panelists shared examples of how they are meeting this challenge through patient-centered services, disruptive technologies and data integration. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn the most successful consumer strategies from top firms such as Aetna, Fitbit, CVS, Walgreens, Google, Allscripts, Uber and more.
