eMids Hires Melissa Bates as Business Development Manager
Rising Community Leader Will Focus on Building Business With New and Existing Middle Tennessee Clients
NASHVILLE, April 9, 2008 – Nashville-based eMids Technologies, a leading offshore and onshore outsourcing solutions company to Fortune 2000 companies, has hired Melissa Bates as Middle Tennessee Business Development Manager. Bates’ responsibilities include growing eMids’ expanding client base and building business with existing clients in Middle Tennessee.

Bates joins eMids from LBMC Technologies, where she served as an account executive since 2007 and marketing coordinator from 2004-07. She is active with the Nashville Technology Council, WITT (Women in Technology of Tennessee) and Leadership Healthcare. Bates earned her bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University, majoring in marketing with a minor in applied ethics. She joins recent hires Gray Karnes, who oversees client development and support initiatives in East Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky, and IT consultant Jerry Buchanan.
