eMids Technologies Bolsters Presence Across Tennessee
Hires Karnes as Business Development Manager in East TN, Buchanan as IT Consultant
NASHVILLE, Feb. 5, 2008 – Nashville-based eMids Technologies, a leading offshore and onshore outsourcing solutions company to Fortune 2000 companies, has hired Gray Karnes as Business Development Manager and Jerry Buchanan as a Consultant. Karnes will oversee client development and support initiatives in East Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky, while Buchanan will be responsible for developing outsourcing solutions by meeting with users, analyzing existing business processes and documentation, and working with offshore development staff.

Karnes, a resident of Soddy Daisy, joins eMids after a 10-year stint as Senior Account Manager at New Horizons Learning Center. A graduate of King College, Karnes earned his bachelor’s degree, majoring in history and political science and earning minors in math and secondary education.
Buchanan joins eMids from Little Red Scrapbook Co., a business he owned and operated in Mt. Juliet, TN. He also has worked as a Lead Business Analyst for the state of Tennessee. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, earning his bachelor’s degree in computer science; he is working on a master’s degree in computer science at Middle Tennessee State University.
