Nashville, Tenn. — December 5, 2011 — Nashville-based emids, a provider of information technology and operations services for the healthcare industry, announced today two additions to its Payer Division; Vinod Ethirajan as Vice President of Payer Services and Lance Stewart as Senior Director of Sales.
Most recently, Ethirajan served as head of Care Management Reporting and Data Analytics at Wellpoint in Denver, Colorado where he oversaw the development of reporting framework, processes, standards and tools to support the Wellpoint project investment portfolio. With over 5 years of TriZetto, he has managed large payer solutions and services. In his new role, Ethirajan will lead solution design and account management efforts for all emids payer clients.

Stewart brings to emids more than 22 years of experience in healthcare. Prior to emids, Stewart was with McKesson serving as Senior Sales Executive for their Care Management Services. At McKesson, Stewart was responsible for health plans involved with disease management, wellness, triage services and member/provider portal platforms. Prior to McKesson, Stewart was an executive in the Payer sales division at Merck. At emids, Lance will be responsible for sales of new accounts in the payer division.
