New Leaders in KY and AL, Growing Client Base and Revenues Fuel Optimism
NASHVILLE, March 30, 2009 – Nashville-based emids Technologies, a leading information technology solutions company to the healthcare industry, has opened additional southeastern offices in Alabama and Kentucky and added and promoted important business leaders. emids expects the new hires will enable it to continue to expand rapidly across the Southeast.
emids recently welcomed Gerald Joiner as Director of Sales to oversee its Louisville-based operations. In December, emids hired Kim Poole as Director of Business Development for its recent expansion into Alabama. emids also recently promoted Gray Karnes to Director of Business Development for East Tennessee. Poole is based out of Birmingham, while Karnes will continue his duties from the Chattanooga area.
"emids is on track to double revenues in 2009, after almost doubling our client base in 2008," said emids Technologies President Saurabh Sinha. "We welcome Kim Poole and Gerald Joiner to help spearhead our growth and lead our offices in Alabama and Kentucky, much as Gray has helped emids expand in East Tennessee and Georgia. We are proud to have grown to more than 350 staff members in a short period and expect to add more staff in our U.S. offices."
Joiner recently served as Director of the Health Enterprise Network (HEN) in Louisville where he helped form its "Leadership Fellows" group, dedicated to growing economic development in the region and leadership skills among its membership.
