SQL Server Developer
emids is currently looking for an experienced SQL Server ETL Developer with at least five years of experience to act as the primary developer for an existing data conversion and migration project. The position will be responsible for mapping multiple Microsoft SQL Server source databases to a single SQL Server target system, creating detailed functional and technical design documents, building and testing extracts and transformations throughout the project, and documenting and providing results to stakeholders.
Position Essential Functions
- Acts as primary development resource to migrate data from multiple source data models to a single common data model
- Builds SSIS ETL packages based on business processing rules and database mapping documents
- Works closely with database administrators and application configuration team throughout the entire project
- Acts as primary support resource to troubleshoot issues during production conversions
Position Qualifications:
- Strong background in data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL)
- Five or more years of solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008)
- Five or more years of solid experience in the design and development of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages
- Strong experience with Business Intelligence Development Studio (2005 and 2008)
- Microsoft .NET Framework development experience a plus
