Senior Healthcare Business Analyst
emids is looking for a Senior Health Care Business Analyst to work with end users and technical professionals to gather requirements. The Business Analyst will assist in requirements gathering and project leadership and help drive the analysis, design, and development of the solution; write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, required to deploy the business solution; plan for testing to ensure the solution meets the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Strong requirements gathering and writing technical and functional specifications
- Serving as a liaison between technical and non-technical team members
- Coordinate and document project/release level UAT
- Prepare and/or present documentation of business/technical presentations
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project
- Provides training in application use and process flow
- Coordinating software development projects, including participating in the preparation of an overall project plan, incorporating costs and tasks from the various components, ensuring a successful and timely project implementation
- Adapts well to fast pace and changing environment to meet business needs
- Write user guides for new processes
Qualifications:
- At least 4-6 years experience in an IT Business Analyst role
- At least 3 years experience working in Healthcare, with knowledge of claims processing and revenue cycle (Cash, Collections, Billing)
- BA/BS degree in a technology related field, business administration or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
