Senior Healthcare BA with EDI Experience

emids is currently looking for a Sr. Healthcare Business Analyst with EDI experience. This person will act as the single point of contact for this group of IT, and will participate in regular meetings with functional leaders of assigned business areas. This individual must be technically adept, able to understand system knowledge in order to analyze various system issues and provide assistance to teams to help fix bugs etc. This person must understand the business and be able to translate those needs into system improvement needs.

Primary Position Requirements

  • Experience working with Healthcare related systems, standards and protocols, and EDI required.
  • 4 Year Degree in a related field, 4+ years Business/System analyst, project management
  • Foster client relationships and accountable for IT deliveries/communication for assigned business area
  • Ensure IT initiatives have proper business process alignment within and across functional units
  • Monitor programs and projects related to your assigned functional area
  • Work proactively your functional leads to identify process improvement opportunities and bring to IT delivery team for execution. Ability to foresee the needs of system improvements for operational excellence is critical requirement for this position
  • Hands on ability to analyze system/data issues, suggest training improvements, and work with other IT analysts and developers to foster true team environment
  • Assess technology strengths and weaknesses in the context of the current business requirements
  • Manage requirements definitions and facilitate prioritization of projects and requirements among varied business interests
  • Coordinate with various business and technical groups whose support is needed to build or deploy solutions for your area
  • Establish standards for business processes
  • Coordinate training when needed
  • Ensure that all application systems documentation is properly updated
  • Update/track all client requests through the appropriate tracking toolset and is responsible for ensuring that updates are completed in a timely, accurate and complete manner. Tracks and documents client problems and solution strategies
  • Consistently complete tasks within pre-defined timelines
  • Ability to work closely with business leaders
  • Organizational and communication skills specific to the projects and the business

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities and schedules
