QA Tester

Communication

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Asks questions of the client staff as needed and with comfort
  • Can succinctly communicate bugs in the ticket system
  • Follows an escalation path
  • Follows instructions
  • Accepts work assignments as provided by the client

Testing Skills

  • 3 – 7 years testing experience
  • Testing certifications
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of negative testing scenarios
  • Has integrity
  • Will take initiative and question test scenarios and add additional valid scenarios (when needed)
  • RPG Testing experience
  • GUI Testing experience
  • Java Testing experience

General Skills

  • Familiarity with Excel (current test cases are in excel spreadsheet format)
  • Ability to meet ETAs and estimated hours
  • Will accept responsibility to properly test and approve product
  • Query / SQL experience
  • Familiarity with programming terminology
