Healthcare Configuration/Implementation Specialist
emids is partnered with a leading provider of healthcare services on their search for Configuration/Implementation Specialist.
As a Configuration/Implementation Specialist, you will work closely within internal project teams to implement proprietary applications/solutions in the most effective way to maximize the client investment and meet their business and technical objectives. This position will be part of the Platform Operations team providing implementation support to our field personnel. The position will be involved in variety of activities including configuration, troubleshooting, training and working closely with Product Management and Operations to understand the evolving platform and it's features as well as provide feedback for the product roadmap to make implementations and rollouts more streamlined and effective.
Responsibilities
- Effectively configure platforms, including front-end and back-end functionality to ensure proper utilization and functionality of customer business workflows
- Verify configurations are in accordance to the published/established standards of the platform
- Correct/address issues identified during analysis and implementation, and escalate promptly when needed
- Help client-facing project managers with client expectation management during the implementation phase
- Document all client-interactions including telephone calls, sessions, emails, etc. in CRM solutions
- Ensures and verifies integrity of interface data prior to escalation to other department
- Attend client meetings and provide subject matter expertise for the platform
- Provide mentoring to new implementation specialist team members as required
- Contribute to improving existing training, tools and documentation to improve quality of implementations
- Provide recommendations for product enhancements based on configuration/implementation experience
- Use independent judgment to tailor platform configurations to customer requirements, and be able to develop and communicate resolutions
- Research reported problems by thorough testing and documentation
Professional Experience & Skills
- Understanding of HL7 interface methodologies
- Skilled in interface analysis, interoperability setup & testing of interfaces
- Understanding of EHR and medical office/health system workflows
- Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules
- Ability to work from an organizational perspective as well as independently and as a contributing team member
- Possess proven aptitude for understanding technical processes with the ability to learn new features in the SaaS platform as well as the client systems and workflows
- Ability to organize time effectively while identifying barriers to progress, proposing solutions and setting priorities
- Healthcare experience and/or working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in related industry
Length of engagement: Six month contract with probable extension
